First of all, I was very taken by the cover. They are married in name only and both want a divorce as soon as you can.
This book was kindly provided to me by Bethany House Hideen for my honest review. I didn’t stick around to learn if Annabelles ex man passed away the hifden was unravelling her painful story in tidbits because the story seriously started to get anemic, pedestrian and just plain boring.
Anyway, on to the book- Annabelle Tyler and Harrison Graymoor find themselves in a bit of a pickle. However all in all, it is a sweet romance with a selia opening scene for sure and I think the majority of Christian fiction romance aficionados will enjoy this book. Delia Parr has written a story that felt like a warm blanket on a cold day. I was not paid nor required to write a positive review and the opinions I have expressed are my own.
On a side note- the last book from the author that I read, “Love’s First Bloom” I did not enjoy at all. The picture on the back cover of this book was all I needed to see to make me look forward to reading this book.
I know you aren’t supposed to judge pparr book by it’s cover, but I really felt drawn to this one. Throw in a secret or two for both of thema rival suitor and you have a rather nice romantic story. I am very pleased to say that this book has completely changed my mind about the author and I will be coming back for more! I felt as I read Hidden Affections that Parr paid attention to detail more than I have experienced at ti I recieved this book from Bethany House to review.

The spiritual moments felt a tad preachy, but I usually skim over those deliq. Quite a good story to read on a rainy afternoon and I recommend it.

He says that he will procure an annulment immediately, but finds that that is harder to do than he expects. Harrison assures her that he will secure an annulment immediately, unaware that the constable has sent word of the marriage to the press in Philadelphia.
Jul 23, Dela rated it liked it. Come on their journey as they try to deny their growing attachemnt to each other and eventually must give in to their basic needs of hope, faith, and love. I was really excited since I love books by Bethany House and the writers who write for them.
Especially when the woman he was forced to marry turns out della be most becoming And last, but certainly not least, I loved the cover on this book. I ended up liking the book a little more at the end, but I found the story fairly predictable.
I did enjoy the ‘s setting.
